As the information Provider groenlid created a urani.me plugin
and he is actively improving the api

i want to add another provider that adds data from trakt.tv with the tvdb id that is provided by uranime to have SxxExx information ... so postprocessors can name the episodes in a format that XBMC / PLEX and others can read

and its also a nice test for multiple Providers on one MediaType

Lad i would love to see a sample once you compleate one to make sure i am going down the right track with AniDB. That said i may only need AniDB for post processing and loading old libraries since it seems the API can return the AID and EID.

Also not sure about XBMC but plex has an unofficial AniDB plugin for scraping info.  Not sure what file name formats it supports but it should work with AniDB seasions at least.

yes it might work with the absolute numbers and appropriate scrappers
but as mentioned in the github issue i got multi provider data working with uranime data and trakt.tv data based on the tvddb id

the uranime data looks to be in sync to the anidb data
